Zenzyburi. Vanishing antipoint.

About

“Zenzyburi. Vanishing antipoint”. 2d point-&-click adventure-quest.

Comic/tragicomic cartoon adventure: a mixture of video games such as "Gobliiins" series and "Machinarium" / "Samorost" / "Deponia" (we were inspired by these games, but not only by them)  in the original Zenzyburi Universe - hand-illustrated world to exploration.

Playing for different characters, it is necessary to return the main character - Bacho - from the world of Zenzyburi to his real world. But first these worlds must be repaired…

The story of Bacho about what happened to him at the intersection of macrocosmos (telescope), microcosmos (microscope) and some other random and regular events. And all this intersected in his room while he was sleeping. And by the way, his home cockroach provoked this unimaginable situation. Because of his insatiable cockroach greed for chips.

A story about a journey home with unexpected twists and turns of the plot, where you will have to make a choice (in some cases, moral and sacrificial) to continue the journey and return Bacho home - to his real home. The choice will affect which of the three game finals the player will come to (happy end, not happy end, worst end).

With infographics/pictograms instead of long text dialogs. In addition to the classic quest point-and-click mechanics (find items for inventory, use these items with each other and with other objects in the scene to move forward), mechanics are used based on video games such as “Worms”, “Mortal Kombat”, “Oil’s Well”, “Frogger” and other retro games.

Team

Zenzyburi Team is a small team that brings together several people from different countries. Part of us are experienced Jedi in the gaming industry, another part are less experienced Padawans (but also with a great passion for video games and other forms of art).

“Zenzyburi. Vanishing antipoint.” - This is our first joint game. We love classic retro point-&-click quests. We love retro videogames from other genres. We love modern videogames and game mechanics. We love interesting stories (including telling and doing) ... This is not a complete list. “Zenzyburi. Vanishing antipoint” is a synthesis of all that we love, which we want to share with other people.
